Job Description:
As a Work Preparer, you are responsible for drafting work instructions, checking material specifications, and monitoring project progress. You collaborate with the team and propose improvements to optimize processes.
It’s essential in this role to collaborate and communicate effectively with various stakeholders, such as production workers and suppliers. You are proactive and adept at managing deadlines. Additionally, technical insight and proficiency in drawing programs (Inventor / Fusion 360 / Autocad) are crucial.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Researching and analyzing production processes
- Creating drawings and work instructions
- Procuring materials and components
- Monitoring project progress
- Identifying bottlenecks and proposing improvements
- Collaborating and communicating with various stakeholders
Requirements:
- Completed technical education, preferably in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with Autodesk drawing programs (Autocad Fusion 360 and/or Inventor)
- Knowledge of materials and their properties, particularly metals
- Experience with turning, milling, laser cutting, bending, and metal forming through rolling
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Proactive and results-oriented
- Ability to collaborate and manage deadlines effectively

As a metal worker you are good with your hands, you like working with metal and you live for the creations you make with your tools. You are also able to apply TIG-welding techniques. You have a great sense of responsibility, are enthusiastic, representative and able to work independently, but are also a great team player.
Your tasks mainly consist of:
- Reading work orders, instructions and drawings
- All-round metalworking and welding
- Collect and check required materials
- Operate the machines independently and carry out the associated production activities
- Product control (quality control) of the self-produced products
- Carry out the necessary user maintenance on the machines
